This definition of having a servant’s heart was given to me years ago and has resonated as truth to this day:  Having a servant’s heart is “… being excited about making someone else successful.”

Think that through. When you are excited about helping your spouse succeed, you feel less put upon when they need your help…again.  It is the same with your children, your coworkers, or fellow students.  It is the same when you are in ministry. Exhaustion and attrition will be waaay less prevalent when you maintain a servant’s heart. Continue reading

But they will turn out the way He knows is life-giving for your heart, your mind and  sense your sense of purpose You life will glorify His name. Why?
